Mugen Seiki Co., Ltd (known commonly as Mugen) is a japanese manufacturer of radio-controlled cars founded in 1982 in Chiba, Japan and based in Funabashi, Chiba, Japan. Mugen means unlimited, Seiki means machinery works. Mugen Seiki manufactures 1/8 scale buggies, truggies, pan cars and 1/10th scale touring cars. Mugen Seiki's biggest competitors are Kyosho and Serpent.
Mugen Seiki's cars have won many racing championships at local, national continental and world level including 8 IFRA World Championships and 13 EFRA European Championships.

Founded in Japan in 1982, Mugen Seiki released its first ever RC car in 1990, an offroad car named the Supersport which woin the IFMAR World Championship in the hands of its now CEO Koji Sanada. Production of the Supersport ran until 1992. It was followed by The stadium truck which was based on the Supersport platform. Mugen later went back to 1/8th scale buggies with the Super Athlete.
Mugen now has subsidiaries and regional headquarters in North America through Mugen Seiki Racing Ltd based in Lake Forest, CA and in Europe through MSE Mugen Seiki Europe Vertriebs GmbH based in Gelsenkirchen, Germany. The present President and CEO of Mugen Seiki in Japan is Koji Sanada, an RC car designer and former 1990 IFMAR World Champion on a Mugen Supersport.

- MBX-4 - 4th generation of Mugen 1/8 off-road buggy. 1st raced at EFRA 1999 in Spain
- MBX-4RR - Revised version of the MBX-4 with updated suspension arms and steering
- MBX-4XR Works - Special version of the MBX-4. Was announced in December 2000 and was called the "Expert Model" by Mugen
- MBX-5 - Launched mid-2003. The 1/8 buggy won a world championship and was in production until 2006
- MBX-5 PROSPEC - Updated version of the MBX-5 which featured thicker shock towers, aluminum rear uprights, aluminum steering arm, front and rear chassis braces and titanium turn buckles. The MBX-5 was the first Mugen buggy to feature chassis braces
- MBX5R - Updated version of the MBX-5 Pro Spec which featured longer travel suspensions, new one-piece engine mount and more steering travel
