The scale of a radio-controled vehicle refers to the size of the model as compared to its full-size counterpart. For instance, a 1/18th scale Chevrolet Camaro car is 1/18th the size of, or 18 times smaller than, the size of the real thing. In the RC world, the 1/18th scale sits in between the hobby grade larger scales cars and the fun Mini-Z and other small scale vehicles. As of such, it is not the most popular scale range in RC.
